Dungeon Keeper 2 Elite Creatures Rooms
In patch 1.7, Dungeon Keeper 2 introduced a collection of elite creatures that can be acquired by specific room configurations. For each species of creature, minus the maiden, there is an elite creature. This guide will reveal how to get elite creatures in Dungeon Keeper 2 by going through them one after another.
How Do I Know It Is An Elite?
It is pretty easy to recognize an elite as when they enter through a portal a trumpetting sound announces their presence along with the announcement that, "A new species of creature has entered your dungeon". Furthermore, they look quite different than their counterparts, often having the color blue associated with them. They also have unique names, which hover above their hard rather than the creature-type name.
How To Use This Guide:
This guide is pretty straight forward, just build the room as suggested and the elite will come in through the portal in a little time. One thing to note, though, is that the rooms have to be precisely as shown and they cannot be touching other rooms. Furthermore, some rooms require precise configurations in regards to north, east, south and west. Thus, assume that the top of any image here is North.
Dungeon Keeper 2 Elite Fly Room
To get the elite Fly simply build a 3x3 room with a lair in each corner and hatchery's for the rest, as per below.
Dungeon Keeper 2 Elite Goblin Room
In order to acquire the elite goblin build a 3x3 room with a hatchery in each corner and lair as the rest, as per below.
Dungeon Keeper 2 Elite Warlock Room
The elite warlock room follows much the same pattern, but is a little larger. Basically, it is a 5x5 room consisting of a library with a lair at each corner. An image is below.
Dungeon Keeper 2 Elite Troll Room
The method to get the elite troll is almost identical to the one to get the elite warlock, but instead of a library it requires a workshop in the same configuration. Basically, a 5x5 room consisting of a workshop with a lair at each corner, as per below.
Dungeon Keeper 2 Elite Rogue Room
Sticking with the general trend already established, to get the elite rogue requires a somewhat similar room configuration to many of the other creatures. Basically, a 5x5 room consisting of a casino with a treasury at each corner, as per below.
Dungeon Keeper 2 Elite Bile Demon Room
The elite Bile Demon room deviates somewhat from the others with a 7x7 room configuration. In short, it is a 5x5 hatchery bordered by a single line of workshop.
Dungeon Keeper 2 Elite Dark Elf Room
To acquire the Elite Dark Elf, build a 5x5 room consisting of a 3x3 guard room surrounded by a 5x5 single line of training room, as per below.
Dungeon Keeper 2 Elite Skeleton Room
The elite skeleton is a similar trend as many of the other rooms. In order to acquire it, build a 5x5 room consisting of a prison with a treasury at each corner.
Dungeon Keeper 2 Elite Mistress Room
The get the elite mistress, build a 5x5 room consisting of a 3x3 prison surrounded by a line of torture chambers, as per below.
Dungeon Keeper 2 Elite Vampire Room
The elite vampire requires a very specific room configuration. To start, build a 7x7 room with a single line of library on the outside. Then at the northeastern corner, build a 3x3 graveyard followed by building another 3x3 graveyard at the southwestern corner that intersects with the other graveyard. Then fill in the rest with library, as per below.
Dungeon Keeper 2 Elite Black Knight Room
The room required to draw in an elite black knight is fairly simple. Build a 7x7 room consisting of a 5x5 combat bit with a line of training room around it.
Dungeon Keeper 2 Elite Dark Angel Room
The elite dark angel is no doubt the hardest elite creature to get, with a very frustrating room configuration. It consists of a 7x7 room with a 1x7 training room on the eastern side, a 1x7 treasury on the western side, a 5x1 lair to the north, a 5x1 torture room to the south and a 5x5 temple in the center. To see an example, look below.
